The Atlanta Harmonica Enthusiasts

The Atlanta Harmonica Enthusiasts (AHE) is an organization of harmonica players in Atlanta and outlying areas. The focus of the group is on playing and learning the harmonica. We meet regularly to share knowledge, fellowship, and play the harmonica. The group operates as a a cooperative with no officers, no membership dues, and no official membership list.

At the present time, we have two harmonica teachers in the club.  

The first is Matthew Smart.  Matthew’s harmonica style is very simple: big tone, strong vibrato, sweet bends and a few riffs borrowed from the greats. Matthew has been teaching blues harmonica for 8 years in Atlanta, GA.  He teaches at his home and at the Ken Stanton Music store in Roswell, GA.   In addition to teaching, Matthew has also been a During the day, he works for ACS, a Xerox company. www.atlantaharmonicalessons.com
