Welcome To
The Atlanta Harmonica Enthusiasts

The Atlanta Harmonica Enthusiasts (AHE) is an organization of harmonica players in Atlanta and outlying areas. The focus of the group is on playing and learning the harmonica. The Cazanovas Blues Band

The Cazanovas are a butt-rockin' roots/blues based band working hard to make an impression on how modern blues is viewed in today's music world. The vibe, energy and originality that is brought to the table by this group of musicians to create "music that is rooted in blues, but doesn't necessarily sound like a copy of something that we've heard before" (Chris Kramer ABS Writer 2006) is what keeps the band fresh and innovative.  Watch them now!

The Breeze Kings

The Breeze Kings, led by vocalist/harp player, Carlos Capote, are one of the finest blues bands in Atlanta.  They have been awarded the Best Blues Band in Atlanta eight times! You can catch them every Thursday at Northside Tavern.

Matthew Shelton

Matthew Shelton was and is, one of the early members of the AHE.  He is remarkably talented at playing the harmonica, singing, and playing guitar all at the same time!  He is also a master of playing in 5th position.

Jim Mcbride

Jim is a talented player that has a very busy schedule when it comes to the harmonica.  Jim is the co-founder of the AHE club and helps co-founder Matthew Smart schedule and facilitate monthly meetings.

Jim is also busy with his incredibly unique blues microphone called the "Bottle of Blues."  You will not believe the blues tone you can get from these small microphones! Click here to go to his site

The JoeLee Bush Blues Band specializes in swinging and jumping in the styles of Rod Piazza and Little Walter. (working night and day to duplicate that Piazza sound...who after all, is the best alive!) "Joe Lee" has spoken...so let it be written, so let be done.

60 years of playing for money should say something about Joe Lee's mileage. To learn more, got to www.joeleebushshow.com

Appearing every 1st and 3rd Saturday at Spiced Right Ribs on Atlanta Street in Roswell for the entire year of 2012.

Stoney Brooks

Stoney Brooks & the Hooch is fronted by Atlanta harmonica hero, Stoney Brooks, with support from the guitar and vocal mastery of Lee Griffin, the big show keyboard and vocal expertise of Ron Roper, and the legendary rhythm section of Tim Henderson on bass and Peter Chakales on drums. Sets full of original tunes and swinging covers that pull fans to the dance floor. A full moon party at every show. It's a jitter bugging swing dance, and everybody boogies.

Denise Moscardeli

I joined Reverbnation to stay connected to live music events. I love the Atlanta Blues community and checking out what’s new in music. My favorite type of place is small venues where I can really chill, listen, and learn from talented artists. I play blues harp and really appreciate the big guys and gals that started it all….way back in the day.I also do press kit photography.  Mudd's Kitchen

Ana Howells (vocals/harmonica) and Dave Holston (vocals/guitar) started a duo in January 2012 with the goal of playing songs by the great masters of Chicago Blues from the 50's: Muddy Waters, Little Walter and Jimmy Rogers.  With sofisticated lines(almost jazzy), this duo aims to play those classic tunes with a modern & soft urban feel, at the same time they stay true to their blues roots and influences. Expect strong vocals, great harp tone & fine guitar melodies.
